HDR is a conglomerate dedicated to agricultural activities, livestock farming, horse breeding, and other related endeavors. Our operation is sustained by the integration of diverse business units, working together to ensure our self-sufficiency and deliver quality goods and services to both other industries and the community at large.
With a comprehensive approach, we have ten strategically located farms in Chiriquí, each with a specific purpose within our corporate vision.
About Us
In 1997, HDR emerged as the personal project of Ricardo “Dicky” Pérez, inspired by his love for the countryside and the influence of his father, Don Ricardo Pérez García. Starting as a family recreational hacienda located in San Pablo Nuevo, Chiriquí, the project quickly evolved into a robust company.
Initially focused on horse breeding, HDR soon expanded its vision to include livestock farming and agriculture.
Over time, it acquired other farms to broaden its operations. Today, with ten strategically located farms in David, Boquete, Tierras Altas, Alanje, Boquerón, and Renacimiento, HDR has grown to develop six business units, offering a wide range of products and services.

Economic Activities
HDR consolidates diverse business units that work together to sustain our operations and to market goods and services to other industries and the community at large.
Cattle
Across our farms, we raise high-genetic-quality cattle for reproduction and consumption, adhering to strict standards in their welfare, health care, genetics, and nutrition.
Equines
Horse breeding marked the beginning of our story, and today we have equines of various breeds such as Pure Spanish Horses (PRE), Aztecs, Mules, and Shetland Ponies.
Other Activities
In addition to our core activities, at HDR, we have other business units for both our farms’ self-sufficiency and providing services to the community.
